Political Activist Emmanuel Abankwah Kesse popularly known as Olumanba has backlashed section of Ghanaians who are criticizing the Church of Pentecost for building Police cells and Prisons.
According to him, Hebrews 13:3 asks us to do that for those at the prisions.
“What the Church of Pentecost did is laudable because Hebrews 13:3 says ‘Continue to remember those in prison as if you were together with them in prison, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering”
Olumanba has also condemned the rate at which people stigmatize ex-convicts in our societies.
“We should stop the habit of stigmatizing ex-convicts because if society keeps on rejecting them, they may see no better option than to go back to where they will be accepted(Prision)”
He has therefore encouraged all and sundry to emulate the example the Church of Pentecost has set
